Reflecting McLeod's labors in the service of the Hudson's Bay Company in western Canada and the Pacific Northwest, prefaced by a brief biographical sketch prepared by the Public Archives of Canada. Includes his journal, Kamloops to Edmonton, February 19-May 17, 1826; report of occurrences at Kamloops in fall and winter of 1822; circulars to Chief Traders and Chief Factors, 1825-1827; letters received, 1827-1837; and letters sent, 1827-1833.
